The Community Services Commission (The Commission / Board), established by the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane provides strategic direction and policy development. The direction and control of Anglicare SQ  is vested in the Commission/Board.

Chair

An exciting  leadership executive role of Chair is an opportunity to join a highly reputable organisation backed by a strong board of Directors. The Commission is supported by Audit and Risk, People and Culture, Clinical Care and Governance committees.

As the Chair of the Board, you will be responsible for leading board meetings and ensuring accountability of deliverables working closely with our CEO and Executive team.

Your Expertise

• Senior executive experience in Business, Finance, IT, Legal, Governance, HR,  in complex organisations.
• Health, community services or not for profit experience
• Extensive Board or Corporate Governance experience
• Demonstrated capacity to lead teams with an unwavering commitment to maintaining the organisations governance framework
• Attend evening board meetings and weekend events and workshops
• Strong advocacy skills
• Identifying as a worshipping Anglican will be highly regarded
• Relevant degree, preferably in a discipline related to the work of the Commission
